What a lovely selection of Easter books – so gentle, joyful, and perfect for little ones. I will ask our library if they have any of these, and I’d love to buy a couple for Andrew for Easter. Are there any you would especially recommend?
Hello Ana. I know Andrew loves books, but I would try the library first. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t buy many for him – or perhaps none – the reason being that they are very seasonal. Easter will be over very quickly, and unlike Christmas, there isn’t such a long build-up period either. Also, the books on this list are mainly for very young children. I haven’t found any for older ones, and Andrew is already nearly 5, so he will quickly have outgrown these. If you really want to buy one you could check out on Amazon ‘We’re going on an Egg Hunt’ – and I have just added a Peter Rabbit book for Easter to my list. I am sure when you go to the Lake District to the Beatrix Potter House, you will be able to look at several Peter Rabbit Easter books. Then you can see which ones Andrew might like and it would be a special memory from your visit there.
